Park being reviewed: The Great Escape

I visit 4 -5 parks per year. By far this park rates a distant 2 out of 10. The major issues are break downs and insufficient processing of lines. For instance, they have only one ride attendant on the bumper cars. The ride is about 90 seconds and it takes a good 5 -6 minutes to turn the ride over. At other parks I've been to, they would have 3 - 4 attendants at same ride and it would only take 90 seconds to turn over the ride. This lack of efficiency, which means much longer wait times in lines, carried out through all the major rides in the park.

The other factor is mechanical break downs. At least 3 of major rides closed while I was waiting in line because of a mechanical failure. One the major rides, the Bob-sleds, never opened (due to a bee nest). Come on, bee's nest just don't spring up overnight. Are they really playing attention to the maitains. I don't think so. If they were, then why were only 13/22 cars working on the bumper cars.

One price for both the park and waterpark. However, once inside it extra to ride the go-karts. The water park has a very limited number of tubes. However, for $5 you can rent your own tube and not have to wait in line for one of the free tubes. Looking at piles, the rental tubes out number the free tubes by at least 5 fold.

My two teenage boys, who usually need to be threaten to leave an amusement park, were begging to leave after 5 hours. They said, it just was not worth it waiting in lines. Now my boys are use waiting (Disney, Cedar Point, Hershey Park). So that gives you an ideal of what my kids felt.

I did request to talk with the park's amusement manger. He really did hear or care to hear what I had to say. It said it was my preception and that I should have a nice day. Now my job and company depends on customer service and people skills. If I had this guy working for me, my firm would be filing for bankruptance.
